Fayola Timberlake is the founder of UooLike, an online video platform that promotes music, art, fashion and culture. Her vision is to encourage people to express themselves and explore their passions. As well as showcasing talent, promoting creative projects and documenting current affairs, Uoolike gives a voice to people with experiences and stories to share. Behind the scenes it is the product of collaborations of both industry professionals and students and provides a hub for networking whilst offering opportunities for hands on learning experience.
Having worked for global media giants such as Discovery Channel and Sony Pictures Entertainment in key organisational and logistical roles, Fayola has developed an insightful understanding of the broadcasting industry. Together with her previous professional dance career and other creative achievements in singing, songwriting and acting, she has a unique and complete approach in the running of UooLike. With familiarity both behind and in front of the camera, Fayola oversees running and promotion of the brand from concepts and content to production. Through short documentaries, talking head topic shows and art, culture and music highlights, UooLike continues to establish itself as a trusted online platform where people really can have a voice. As well as providing inclusive entertainment and bringing awareness to charitable concerns, UooLike has also shown itself to offer direct help to those in need with campaigns such as The Blanket Project which raised funds to help the homeless in London.
A graduate of the BRIT Performing Arts School, Fayola herself has always followed her passions knowing that self-expression lies at the heart of leading a fulfilled life. Her dance credits and music video appearances include Chris Brown (World Music Awards), Robbie Williams, Jamelia, Mystique and Michael Jackson’s Thriller Musical. Respected in the dance world, she has been a regular performer at high profile events such as Cannes Film Festival. As a singer/songwriter Fayola has worked with an array of music producers including Animal Farm, Supafly Inc and the acclaimed JR Rotem (Britney Spears) and has performed at many notable venues including Wembley Arena, Cafe de Paris and London’s Jazz Cafe.
